CERTIFIED TAX PREPARER AND A LICENSED AGENT IN LIFE, HEALTH, PROPERTY AND CASUALTY INSURANCE
Jennifer Davis was born in Queens, NY. She moved to Savannah, GA when she was 12 years old. From an early age, Jennifer has always had a passion for helping people. Jennifer has worked in hospitality, has been a flight attendant for United Airlines, and did cellular phone sales. It wasn’t until she got a position with the City of Savannah processing payroll, she realized she was good with numbers and enjoyed it. She got her certification online for tax preparation in 2010. She started doing taxes for her friends and family on the side while still working full time.
Jennifer learned the importance of networking and leveraging social media while working in broadcasting from 2011-2015 for WSAV-TV, Cumulus Broadcasting, and CBS in Atlanta, GA. Jennifer decided to officially start her own tax preparation company in 2016 and also received her Credit Consultation certification. Tailor Tax and Financial Services grew quickly due to word of mouth, social media, and excellent customer service.
Over the years, Jennifer always had an interest in insurance especially because her tax clients would always ask her about insurance, and she would refer the business. So, in Oct 2018, Jennifer received her licensed in Property & Casualty and Life Insurance. She went further and obtained her Accident & Sickness license in October 2019 and she also assists Medicare clients. In August 2019, Davis Tax and Insurance was created to combine both financial services, and in September Jennifer found a storefront location to serve her community. Her ultimate goal is to have a resource center for people to come to so they can learn computer skills, create resumes, and get help finding employment.
